Country Charm

We recently had the greatest pleasure photographing the wedding of Dina and Jack at the incredible location of Monte Verde Inn in Foresthill, California.

The weather was spetacular and our lovely couple were perfectly stunning.  The charm of this private country estate only enhanced the spotless details of Dina and Jack’s day.

Dina had selected red as her theme color and what a great choice when looking around the fantastic grounds for a colorful backdrop.

The evening ended with beautiful music and dancing in the ballroom by Joe Kalamaras ( and a perfect toast as the sun faded behind the mountains.

Thank you, Dina and Jack, for the honor of taking your pictures on your treasured day.

New Kid on the Block

We talk a lot about how special our customers are to us.  Here is the newest visitor to our studio, Ryan Michael Olson.  Wow, Kelly and Jason, we are so thrilled to have you bring your little man in for his 2 week photos.  He is just beautiful.  We can’t wait to see him on our 1950 fire engine as he gets older.

Kelly and Jason had their wedding a couple years ago at Wine and Roses in Lodi, California ( and we had the honor of photographing the incredible event for them.   Now, we get to look forward to Kelly’s sister, Tracy, and her upcoming wedding and marriage to Tim this September at Arden Hills Country Club in Sacramento, California (

We are so privileged to be apart of such an incredible family.

To all our Brides and Grooms, bring your newest family members in for their first portraits.  This is a gift from us to you as a thank you for allowing us to be a continued part of your family experience.  Sweet Dreams!

Full Circle

_DSC3343_2Without a question, our customers are the life line of our studio.  But what many of them don’t know, is that they are a true gift of friendship as well.  Darcie and Mike honored us with photographing their wedding a few years ago at Orchard Creek in Lincoln Hills.  Now we had the honor of photographing their son, little man, Blake.  _DSC3150

_DSC3185Or should we say Little Wrangler.  We can’t wait to have them back and watch Blake grow up and have pictures taken around our ranch.  The old trucks, hay wagons, and antique tractor are just the beginning.

Thank you, Stratton Family, for the amazing time and opportunity to photograph you!

Two for One

Not only was the weather glorious, but Amber and Jai were breathtaking – Twice!  We had the pleasure and honor of photographing both of their ceremonies representing western and eastern cultures at the amazing Grand Island Mansion (

The colors and textures of the day were so beautiful.  We felt as though we were photographing a painting with our lovely bride and groom as the center of the masterpiece.  The only difficulty has been how to select a few for sharing.

Amber and Jai’s Hindu ceremony was the first on The Grand Island’s newest ceremony site.  Just perfect for the fabric and details of the day.

Thank you again, Amber and Jai, for a perfect day and beautiful new friendship.
