Oh Baby, Baby

What can I say about this beautiful little girl?  Meet perfect Miss Emily.  I have a lot of images to share, so let’s get busy.

Emily’s parents are very special to us as well.  Barry and I were honored to have photographed their wedding at the amazing Monte Verde Inn.   Their wedding was stunning, but their latest “creation” had me speechless.

We are always so tickled to have our brides and grooms come back to the studio with their growing families.

Emily was also our first baby session in our new studio apartment space.  We were able to keep the room warm and toasty for her, and she didn’t seem mind any new poses we were wanted to try out.  We were even able to try out some of our latest baby accessories from JoCo Couture.

Oh, thank you Lindy and Matt for bringing in your precious little girl and letting me play with you guys.  I just love that our studio family continues to takes us on the best adventures and friendships.

Savanna Smiles

If an engagement session is any indicator to what we have in store for wedding day, well Savanna and Matt are going to give their guests some real excitement today.

And yes, I did say today.  We are heading out the door to Grace Vineyards in Galt for this perfect summer wedding celebration.  I couldn’t resist sharing a few images to set the mood.

Our lovely couple will be including a Jazz Band for the evening entertainment along with the flare of the Great Gatsby era.  We can’t wait and the weather couldn’t be more terrific.

It’s All About Weddings

It’s that time of year again.  Bridal Shows are popping up every where you look, and we are very excited to be participating at the Bridal Showcase this Sunday, August 15th from 11am to 4pm.

So, why bridal shows?  Aren’t they crazy busy and a bit over whelming?  My advice, select the shows that will offer you a variety of vendors to meet and greet and one that is very well established.  The experience is truly worth your time when you start to think about all the scheduling, phone calls, emails you can be saving yourself by meeting a diverse selection of professionals in one location.  What a great way to also include your family and friends along for support and feedback.

Don’t forget to eat before you come as well as stay hydrated to keep your energy up.  You will also want to wear very comfortable shoes.

Other helpful tips, bring along pre-printed labels with your wedding and contact information for attaching to sign up forms.  This will save you and your hands a great deal of writing.  Your mobile phones or even a small video camera can be a great tool for capturing design ideas and remembering favorite booths.  Which reminds me… We will be sure to capture your attention with our cool booth design.

We are here to help you through the planning process.  Bring note pads, sample clippings and anything you would like to share with us while you plan your wedding.  We want to hear all about the details.

Have a great time and we look forward to meeting you there!

Jen’s Dance with Summertime

We just took Jennifer’s senior model session yesterday and I couldn’t wait to post a couple of images.  She was an absolute dream.

Jen is a senior at Roseville High School and she loves to dance for Roseville High’s Dancin’ Feet’ which she has done every year and has advanced to TA for beginners.

Her favorite classes are Science, Photography, Creative Writing, and Dance (of course).  She is also very active in Roseville League Soccer playing both indoor and outdoor and she has been with the same team for 8 years. Working year round officiating soccer games, she is one of the few female youth referees who have worked with national referees and has had finals in the State Cup Tournament.

Jen’s pastimes include listening to music, hanging out with friends, shopping, and volunteering for Great Pyrenees rescue.

Thank you Jennifer for such a perfect time and we can wait to see you again soon.
